Vertical Cannabis is a seed-to-sale cannabis grower and marijuana dispensary based in St. Joseph, Missouri.
When Missouri legalized recreational cannabis use, dispensaries and cannabis brands moved quickly to meet the moment. Vertical Cannabis had pushed its existing Wix site to the limits, but now needed to enhance web capabilities and overhaul its website experience to meet the needs of new audiences.
The Vertical team needed an easy admin experience that allowed them to independently manage the site, an integrated shopping experience that kept eComm activity on-site, and a design system overhaul that would modernize the brand’s online presence and create a new standard for customer experience.
We brought Vertical’s vision to life with a custom eComm-integrated WordPress site that focused on a clean, modern user experience. Our design carefully integrated with Vertical’s point-of-sale platform, iHeartJane, creating a new linear customer journey from first browse to final purchase.
Our new site also armed the Vertical Cannabis team with full control over content management, allowing them to independently update promotions, product info, and employment opportunities at the pace their business required.
