Primary Job Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and execution of social media and email-based content marketing initiatives – including setup, creative development, trafficking, testing/troubleshooting, and results reporting.
Interact with clients and internal teams as both an effective manager of assigned projects as well as the strategic partner who helps clarify project objectives, identify potential challenges or roadblocks, and guide the development of digital marketing initiatives towards demonstrable and measurable success.
Lead both small/medium-sized projects and act as primary day-to-day support on larger strategic initiatives.
Act as the internal voice of the client by understanding their business (objectives, risks, strategies, assets) and their goals, ready to translate those into the necessary strategic direction needed for the development of successful work.
Create, curate, manage, and publish relevant, original content for organic social media channels as well as email marketing.
Monitor, listen, and respond to social media audiences in a way to build brand awareness, trust, and cultivate new leads.
Measure, analyze, and report on goals and channel performance.
Stay connected and informed on the best practices for social media and email marketing.
Actively identify opportunities for incremental account growth through a customer service-oriented mindset and a “can do” spirit.
Operate as a team player in a fast-moving environment but also able to make necessary and reasoned decisions when needs and situations arise.
Job Requirements
2 to 3+ years of relevant experience
Effective oral and strong written communication skills.
Knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, both the organic and paid side, as well as emerging platforms like TikTok and others
Knowledge of Facebook/Meta Business Manager, including areas such as Business Suite, Ads Manager, Events Manager, Audiences, etc.
Working knowledge of common email service platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, Klaviyo, etc.)
Demonstrated resourcefulness, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and self-motivation
Ability to think outside of the box to create unique and winning social media and email marketing campaigns. (Examples and/or portfolio submissions encouraged)
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, journalism, public relations, business administration, or related field is highly desired but not required
