La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club is an historic landmark resort located in La Jolla, California, offering elegant accommodations, experiences and restaurants for its visitors on the San Diego coast.
La Jolla was looking for a development partner who could make several improvements across their portfolio of web properties. Their sites needed accessibility enhancements, a more reliable hosting provider, and a more flexible CMS environment that would allow them to be managed and updated independently, without requiring a developer.
For this project, we were tasked with developing 4X WordPress websites, including: La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, La Jolla Shores Hotel, The Marine Room, and The Shores Restaurant.
In collaboration with Native Digital for the sites’ designs, our team handled the technical development. We built each site on WordPress with easily manageable back-end admin environments, making it easy for La Jolla’s team to update content and keep things fresh, all on their own. We developed each site with accessibility features and considerations at their core, to improve accessibility for users and maintain compliance with ADA requirements.
Once development was complete and quality-tested we migrated the sites’ webhosting services to WP Engine, which offered better performance, security, and peace of mind.
Once our work was done, we had made the sites more accessible for its users, more manageable for its owners, and more reliably hosted and maintained for all.
